Understanding Skin Conditions. This course introduces students to the most common skin diseases and disorders encountered in professional esthetics. By studying conditions such as acne, rosacea, pigmentation disorders, and skin sensitivity, students learn to recognize visible signs, understand contributing factors, and identify when a client should be referred to a medical professional. This knowledge is essential for delivering safe, ethical, and responsible care.

Professional Assessment and Client Safety. A strong focus is placed on skin analysis and client consultation, helping students distinguish between conditions that can be treated within the esthetic scope and those that require medical evaluation. Students develop the ability to adapt treatments, select appropriate products, and identify contraindications, ensuring every service prioritizes client safety and overall skin health.
